Nov 30, 2019Did you know that by buying eggscellent eggs at the retail stores you
• not only care about your own health, nature and avoid plastic
• but you also create income for communities of mostly elderly women in villages near Angkor Wat
Keep the box and re-use it or simply compost it. Unfortunately, shops won’t take it back yet. We keep pushing for recycling though.

Just an idea for recycling……. Farm to Table in Phnom Penh collect glass that is sent up to SIem Reap to the Gaia glass crushing project. What if they could also collect the palm leaf boxes, in order that at least some recycling was going on ???
Hi Tina,
Great idea. Thanks.
Usually, you can bring back your used egg boxes to the shops where you bought them. Our staff will then pick them up from there.
But Farm to Table is our customer too, so, yes, that would work too 🙂
Stay safe!
